purpose

Mr Price Group Logistics has an exciting opportunity for a WMS Administrator. The successful candidate will coordinate end to end testing for monthly Systems releases, WMS (Warehouse Management System) upgrades, change request, projects, continuous improvement systems and ensuring improved process enhancement.

key responsibilities

• To design, develop and execute test plans to support ops teams on WMS issues, and to coordinate system releases.
• Perform timely monitoring, administration, backups, performance tuning, problem resolution and user support for IT systems related to WMS.
• To communicate system changes to the users, including translating system functionality into business relevant language.
• To ensure all IT systems related to Warehouse Management are set up and run as per the organizational requirements and deliver business value.
• To coordinate WMS activities within the DC to ensure WMS optimization.
• To continuously monitor WMS and maintain WMS process SOP’s.
• Engage with managers, users and partners to understand processes, needs, constraints and deliver solutions, enhancements and resolution of issues.
  Involvement in group projects as a WMS & process SME on behalf of the DC.

requirements

• Diploma in Operations Management/ Business Management/ IT
• 2-3 years’ experience in Warehouse Management System (WMS) and processes
• Knowledge of Testing processes and defect management
• Understanding of DC Operations and systems
