Job Title: Medical Device Product Specialist (Plastic Surgery)
Job Overview:
The Medical Device Product Specialist in the plastic surgery field is responsible for promoting and selling medical devices used in plastic surgery to healthcare providers and medical facilities. They work closely with plastic surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff to ensure that the devices they promote are used appropriately and effectively. The product specialist will also assist with training healthcare professionals on the use of the devices and provide technical support when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase sales revenue and market share for medical devices used in plastic surgery.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in plastic surgery practices and medical facilities.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to plastic surgeons and their staff.
- Provide product training and technical support to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure that product information and promotional materials are up-to-date and accurate.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote products and network with potential customers.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competition, and regulatory requirements in the plastic surgery field.
- Create and maintain sales reports and forecasts.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, engineering, or business.
- At least 3 years of experience in medical device sales in the plastic surgery field, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with plastic surgeons and their staff.
- Technical knowledge of medical devices used in plastic surgery and their applications.
- Understanding of plastic surgery industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events.
