GLOBAL IT SERVICE DESK ANALYST
Location: Guangzhou, China
Nord Anglia Education is looking to recruit a Global IT Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team, sat within our office in Guangzhou, China.
As a member of the regional IT team in our Guangzhou location, we are looking for someone to work alongside the Global IT Service Desk Manager.
The Role:
We seek a talented, qualified, and experienced IT Service Desk Analyst to:
- Provide 1st and 2nd Line, user focused support for incidents and requests reported to the IT Service Desk
- Follow established processes and procedures for logging incidents and requests and escalate issues to appropriate support groups for resolution
- Take ownership of tickets and your ticket queue, ensuring appropriate priority is set and regular communication is in place
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Nord Anglia Education IT environment
- Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships
- Assist with the procurement of IT equipment and maintain the IT inventory up-to-date
- Contribute to maintaining the knowledge base
- Advise on improvements that could be made to the processes and procedures
- Attend and contribute to regular IT meetings
The Successful Candidate will possess:
- Graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Experience of delivering remote/deskside 1st or and 2nd level support
- Experience working with up-to-date MS Windows, Office M 365 environments, including basic system administration
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Proven application of duties described for the position
- Experience using a help desk or ITSM ticketing system
- Team worker who can also be an independent self-starter
