Position Summary:
For a given Working Party project, the jobholder manage a team of up to 30 people to perform complex modification embodiment or repair working parties in compliance with FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 145 regulations from project set-up until the release to service of the aircraft, ensuring customer satisfaction, planning optimization and team performance all along project delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure airworthiness of the aircraft for the work performed through the Working Party, sign the Certificate of Release to Service and deliver back the aircraft to the customer.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in various locations.
- Participate in the Working Party Preparation with the Preparation (Work scope, Work planning, Resources, Docs/Materials/logistics) and the Technical Solutions groups.
- Manage the Working Party on site:
- Ensure the Working Party installation (check of the facilities to comply with Airbus MOA processes)
- Perform the safety risk assessment (before, during and after any maintenance activities)
- Manage core team, workers from manufacturing units, subcontractors teams
- Ensure the day to day management of the WP, coordinate with the customer on site and review the WP progress
- Allocate tasks to staff according to the competence required.
- Establish WP file and issue the Certificate of Release to Service IAW FAA/EASA Part 145 regulations and Airbus procedures.
- Keep the working party expenses within estimated/agreed budget and contractual agreed schedule.
- Comply with FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 145 airworthiness regulation.
- Ensure adherence with specific/last minute customer requests as deemed possible, negotiate additional and different items with customers.
- Perform necessary training and qualification process to cope with new types and new airworthiness authorities regulations.
- Lead and supervise inspections/tests/troubleshooting.
- Carry out repair/maintenance/modification tasks.
- Manage customer expectations and needs.
- Support the customs, logistic and transport activities for the spares material.
- Provide technical assistance on site.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Provide support & feedback during Return Of Experience (ROE).
- Contribute to operational business activities through participation in collaborative projects.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
- EASA PART 66 cat B1 required (B2 and B1.C prefered).
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate would be a plus.
- Type training or equivalent experience on the AIRBUS aircraft family. Additional experience on A300/A310 would be a plus.
- 5 to 10 years minimum experience aviation in a repair environment PART 145 (MRO) under: FAA/EASA/TCCA Regulations.
- > 15 years of experience in the Aeronautical
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to teams and business partners worldwide.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in various locations.
- Knowledge of Airbus manuals as available in Airn@v: AMM, IPC, SRM, TSM...
- Proven past people's management experience.

- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions to solve complex structural/mechanical/electrical problems.
- Basic operating computer skills: Email/Word/Excel/Data entry...
