The Transaction Monitoring unit within the Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) function is looking for Global Quality Manager to ensure the work to further enhance SEB Group’s Transaction Monitoring processes end-to-end. You will be working closely with the Global Process Manager to secure effective and efficient processes.
About the role
The purpose of the role is to continuously assess the effectiveness of the TM processes and related controls. Set framework for TM Quality management across value chain to continuously meet regulatory expectations and ensure that SEB becomes a market leader in the fight against financial crime.
What you will be doing
- Set quality standards for TM processes
- Performing targeted end-to-end quality assurance reviews of key TM processes
- Assessing the effectiveness of existing processes and controls, identify incorrect decision making, determine gaps in processes, procedures, and related controls
- Review the credibility of the data/documentation and assess the level of compliance with the requirements of the SEB Group policies and procedures as well as relevant regulatory standards
- Conducting a root cause analysis and make recommendations to address identified deficiencies
- Providing regular MI reports on completed quality assurance reviews to various stakeholders and TM management
Who we are looking for
Preferably you have a good knowledge of quality assurance, compliance control or internal audit methodology, previous experience from quality assurance or any of FCP areas within SEB or other company. You must have good understanding of the Transaction Monitoring area and processes and you preferable have experience from the banking industry.
You will work closely with all parts of Financial Crime Prevention, Business Divisions and Operations. You are interested in providing a high level of service internally and you are a true team player with a strong capability of prioritizing the daily work in a structured manner. You are prestige less and driven and see no problems with questions unknown to you. You have a good network within the bank or a great interest in creating one.
You are also a team player with a curious and analytical mindset and deliver quality within deadlines. Fluent in English is a requirement.
